SPJIMR faculty among the world’s bestselling case authors in Ivey Publishing’s 2025 Bestsellers and Classics lists

Twelve SPJIMR faculty members feature in the prestigious rankings

Jain Institute of Management and Research (SPJIMR) have been featured across two major lists recently published by Ivey Publishing — the Ivey Publishing Bestsellers 2024–2025 list and the Ivey Publishing Classics 2015–2025 list. These lists recognise SPJIMR’s global academic contribution to shaping the next generation of responsible managers and leaders in over 136 countries through cases that are deeply contextual yet stimulate universal insights.

SPJIMR faculty noted that the case studies resonate globally because they place students at the heart of real-world dilemmas. Each case bridges academic theory with lived business realities, sparking critical inquiry and reflective thinking.

The Bestsellers 2024–2025 list features the most widely used teaching cases from a library of nearly 29,000 cases across 15 disciplines, and recognises 10 SPJIMR faculty members.

  • In Marketing, the case GreedyGame: Leveraging Online-Gaming for Brand Storytelling, co-authored by Prof. Ashita Aggarwal, along with Suraj Commuri and Ankit Rawal ranked #1.
  • In Economics and Public Policy, the case Sri Lanka’s Macroeconomic Crises: The Tale of Twin Deficits by Prof. Preeta George and Prof. Monika Gupta ranked #1.

In addition to these top rankings, SPJIMR faculty-authored cases also secured Top 10 positions across five of the 15 disciplines.

The Ivey Publishing Classics 2015–2025 list recognises the 25 most-used cases of the past decade and includes three SPJIMR faculty members:
