[1 December 2025 – Hoofddorp, The Netherlands] – ASICS announces the launch of its latest padel shoe, the SONICSMASH™ FF. The new model features advanced technology specifically engineered for padel – designed to provide the player with more speed to move body and mind.

As the global popularity of padel continues its growth, ASICS is committed to offering players specialised footwear tailored to the unique demands of the sport and court. The SONICSMASH™ FF shoe was crafted using insights from professional padel player Coki Nieto, currently ranked World #8, whose playing style is characterised by speed. This lightweight shoe is designed for the offensive player seeking enhanced agility and a lightweight shoe.

The SONICSMASH™ FF shoe features a distinctive padel-specific outsole designed for high-level performance on the court. It includes a diagonal herringbone pattern which provides advanced grip, allowing the player to remain agile on the court. The new model includes X-GROOVE™ technology that offers superior flexibility and traction for various directional turns. Two circular pivot points at the front of the outsole allow foot rotation and enhance grip, supporting players’ dynamic movements.

The shoes’ midsole design features FLYTEFOAM™ technology, which offers a lightweight, cushioned experience for comfort. This works together with SPEEDTRUSS™ technology to deliver high reactivity, helping the player accelerate towards the next shot.

Designed with comfort in mind, the shoe features a breathable mesh upper. This helps to keep feet cool and try, allowing players to focus solely on their game.

The design is presented in two eye-catching colourways:

• For men: Vital Green & Misty Pine- a fresh green base accented with vibrant pine
• For women: White & Guava – a sleek white base paired with guava glow details
