Fans can now start planning their Olympic experiences. Those who register on the official ticketing platform by 15 January 2025 will be the first to be offered access to the full range of tickets available from 6 February 2025, exactly one year before the Opening Ceremony.
With Italy’s warm hospitality, strong tradition in winter sports and experience in delivering world-class events year on year, athletes and fans can anticipate a spectacular edition of the Olympic Winter Games. Here are some of the key dates to look forward to:
Milano Cortina 2026 will be the most gender-balanced edition in the history of the Olympic Winter Games, with 47 per cent female participation and the introduction of new events such as the skeleton mixed team and women’s double luge.
Like at Paris 2024, the competition schedule has evolved to bring greater coverage to female athletes, with the women’s cross-country skiing mass start event taking place on the final day of competition and – for the first time – over the same 50km distance as the men, whose event takes place a day earlier.
The Milano Cortina 2026 competition schedule brings together a host of prestigious Italian locations and diverse communities to stage an unforgettable celebration of winter sport:
Milano Cortina 2026 also announced the schedule for the Paralympic Winter Games, which will take place from 6 until 15 March and will welcome more than 600 athletes to compete across 79 medal events.
Those who have not registered for the early access ticket draw by 15 January will have the opportunity to purchase tickets for both the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games from 6 April 2025.
To ensure authenticity and secure purchases, tickets and hospitality packages are exclusively available via the official Milano Cortina 2026 channels. By buying tickets or hospitality packages outside official sources, buyers run the risk that tickets or packages will not be delivered or will be cancelled by the Milano Cortina 2026 Organising Committee in line with the terms and conditions.
