Hungarian President visits Olympic House and Olympic Museum

05 June 2025 – The International Olympic Committee (IOC) President, Thomas Bach, welcomed the President of Hungary, Tamás Sulyok, to Lausanne yesterday, accompanied by Hungarian National Olympic Committee (NOC) President Zsolt Gyulay and the IOC Member in Hungary, Balázs Fürjes. The delegation first visited the Olympic Museum, where they saw, amongst the exhibits on display, the huge contribution that Hungary has made to the Olympic Movement.

Later, at Olympic House, President Bach was joined by the IOC President-elect, Kirsty Coventry.

The Hungarian delegation, led by President Sulyok and also joined by NOC President Gyulay and Olympic champions Agnes Kovács and Michelle Gulyás, outlined the achievements of 130 years of the Olympic Movement in Hungary. The present challenges and opportunities facing the Olympic Movement were also discussed.
