18 March 2025 – The International Olympic Committee (IOC) Executive Board (EB) today approved the Anti-Doping Rules applicable to the Olympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026 and the Youth Olympic Games Dakar 2026.
They have been prepared based on the rules applicable to the Olympic Games Paris 2024 and adjusted to reflect their respective contexts and the requirements set out in the most recent edition of the World Anti-Doping Code.
Both documents were finalised with the support of the International Testing Agency (ITA) and approved by the IOC Legal Affairs Commission and the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA).
Since 2019, the IOC has delegated responsibility for the organisation and management of doping control at the Olympic Games to the ITA.
The IOC EB meeting was held in Costa Navarino, Greece, ahead of the 144th IOC Session, which will take place in the same location this week, from 19 to 21 March.
