adidas Redefines Gamechanging Control with Launch of New Predator

  • The latest iteration of the brand’s iconic Predator franchise features the return of the POWERSPINE, alongside a new NANOSTRIKE+ upper
  • Boot to be worn by some of the game’s biggest players, including Jude Bellingham, Aitana Bonmati, Pedri, Trent Alexander-Arnold, and Alessia Russo
  • The all-new Predator is available from today in select retail stores and online at adidas.com

Today, adidas unveils the all-new Predator – the latest innovation in the brand’s most iconic football boot franchise. Created for players who command every moment, the new silhouette evolves the legendary Predator DNA for a generation whose game is defined by control.

Engineered with a new lightweight construction, the boot is designed for the requirements of modern football and features the return of the POWERSPINE, a lightweight full-length plate on the sole of the boot providing midfoot stability for a stronger shot. The boot also features an innovative new NANOSTRIKE+ – a reimagined mesh upper combining softness, lightness, and integrated grip elements for striking precision – which contours seamlessly to the foot, delivering an instinctive fit and optimal striking precision.

The STRIKEFRAME, featuring an updated stud configuration for increased traction and rotational agility, creates ultimate goal-scoring conditions. Further design details include the famous Predator FOLD-OVER TONGUE for a smooth striking surface, BREATHABLE MESH with microfiber lining for midfoot comfort, and a PRIMEKNIT COLLAR offering adaptable lockdown support.

Bringing back the iconic Gunmetal colourway first used on the Predator franchise in 2003, the latest Predator celebrates the boot’s iconic legacy while looking firmly at the future. The combination of metallic silver Three Stripes and infrared detailing evokes Predator’s unmistakable presence — a boot designed to make a statement both in performance and appearance.

Thomas Mace, VP of Design at adidas, said: “The Predator DNA is all about control. With the new Predator, we’ve evolved that DNA for the modern player to create a boot that is lighter, sharper, and tuned for precision. Every element is engineered to empower players who create and finish moments that decide matches.”

The new adidas Predator will be available from December 2nd via adidas.com/football and select retailers worldwide and will be worn by some of the game’s biggest names, including Jude Bellingham, Aitana Bonmatí, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Pedri, Alessia Russo and more.

The Predator Elite (€280) is available to purchase from today from adidas.com and select adidas stores and retailers. For further information, please visit adidas.com or follow @adidasfootball on Instagram and X, or @adidas on TikTok to join the conversation.
